Our sincere late condolences to the family of Helen. I worked with her late husband Genasio (Ace) who I became good friends with. My wife worked as a Concierge at Lincoln Park Retirement Home where by some touch of fate we met one day visiting with my wife and hearing Helen’s last name I realized who she was. She was a lovely lady with a contagious smile and we had a few laughs about her late husband and myself. God has gained another Angel in Heaven. Psalm 46:10 :)

I am so so sorry for the lateness of my condolences to the family. I only just stumpled upon this obituary. Helen was a lovely lady while I worked at Lincoln Park and she was a resident. She loved her sunshine late afternoon and had a reserved spot on the patio that she loved to sit and have her coffee and visit. She was a beautiful lady and I enjoyed her company and my time with her. Rest in peace dear Helen, May you have all the sunshine now shinning on you. Love Laura Martin

I met Helen 2 years ago when, as a Rose Cottage volunteer, I helped her write her Legacy book. We met weekly to talk about her life and ended up being friends. I felt privileged to hear her stories and memories which were so interesting and sharing a laugh or two with her. She was a grand lady and I will miss spending time with her. My sincere sympathies go out to her children and their families.

The other day in my 7 years . Memories this beautiful seafood dinner popped up . It's one of my fond memories of Helen teaching me her seafood pasta . She made for Ron and he loved it always was in his fridge . She made me laugh so hard I was shocked it turned out so great . Sweat and spicy just like she was . Love xo Nona

I would recognize that beautiful face anyway. Helen will never be forgotten and I will always be grateful for her kindness to me when I was just a little girl who lived across the street. She was a great cook and fed me often. Love to Lynn, Gail and David and family.
