Aleksandar Pavlica, beloved husband of 57 years to Iva Pavlica (Sego) was born in Vienna, Austria February 6, 1942., to parents Zeko Pavlica and Jelana (Hahn). Brother to Olga (deceased). Devoted father to Jasmine, Aleksandar Jr. and Gregory (wife Nicole); proud grandfather of Dylan, Sebastian and Jude.

For 31 years Aleksandar worked for Hilton Works Stelco as a Mechanical Engineer. Aleksandar held several patents with Stelco.

Aleksandar passed peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital after struggling in hospital for several months on Aug 17, 2024, at 7:00 a.m.

Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, August 21st from 4-7 p.m. at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek. The Funeral will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, August 22nd at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Eastlawn Cemetery, 2280 Barton St. E, Hamilton. A reception will follow the interment, the location of which will be announced at the Funeral Service for family and friends.
