Our heartfelt condolences to our dear friend Kim. Jim will be so sadly missed – especially his amazing smile, sense of humour, and kind caring friendship. I had the pleasure of knowing Jim for so many years as a fellow officer in the Hamilton Police Service. He was certainly one of the best in sharing his knowledge. I knew Jim as a young man when he played football for Bishop Ryan High School. Jim was a very good athlete place kicker and second string quarterback on the 1965 team. After Vic Alboini broke his leg on the Wed before the Friday game, Jim took over the quarterback duties with one night's practice on Thurs we won the Sossa championship on Friday at Ivor Wynne Stadium 9-7 over Saltfleet High School. A good man and anexceptional athlete.

Kim, Frank and family, Please accept my sincere condolences on Jim's death. I am sorry for your loss. I have memories when I was a teenager of Jim coming to our home with my father when they were partners in CID at the time. I recall my father stating that Jim was the smartest investigator on the job. Later, when Jim worked with our Police Association he was revered for his work ethic, his intelligence and his uncanny and no nonsense way of advocating for our members. He was a much respected, game changer while working with our labour issues. He will surely be missed.
