Milica was affectionately known as, "mama" on Cedar Grove at St. Joseph's Villa. I first met her when her husband Todor was also a resident. I have been full time on Cedar a couple years so I became quite acquainted with her and had many lovely chats with her daughter Helen whenever she'd come to visit. It won't be the same without her there. Rest in peace Mili.

Dear Helen and family, My sincere condolences on the loss of your mother and grandmother. A mother's love is like no other, the loss is immeasurable. I remember my neighbour as a very kind and caring lady, always sharing the fruits of her garden, always asking about us kids, always sharing with pride updates on her grandchildren. My mom, Maria, was always fond of her chats with Milli, bragging about their grandchildren, telling each other stories about life in their respective "old country" in their broken English, yet they were always able to understand each other perfectly!
