Obituary of Beverley Jean Young

Passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on Tuesday June 25, 2024 at the Juravinski Hospital in her 81st year. Predeceased by her loving husband Kenneth, to whom she was married for 55 years. Beverley was a cherished mother to Scott (Leigh) and Anita (Dennis) Markovic. She was a doting Nana to Sarah, Grace, and Evelyn. Beverley is survived by her sister Doris and predeceased by brothers James, Lloyd, Harold, Alfred, Charlie and Gerald.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place on Tuesday July 2, 2024 from 11-1 p.m. at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek. Family readings will take place in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. Inurnment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Stoney Creek. A Celebration of Beverley’s Life will also take place on Sunday July 14, 2024 at the Powerhouse Restaurant (21 Jones Street, Stoney Creek) from 1-4 p.m.
