Obituary of Edna May James

Passed away peacefully, at St. Peter’s Hospital, on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at the age of 86. Dearly loved aunt of Gary James (Pat), George James (Lil), Paul James (Heather), Jacquie Wakabayashi (Ken), Sherri Preuss (Hans). She will be deeply missed by her many extended family members.

Edna was proud to have been a special education teacher for over 30 years. She enjoyed her time living at Amica Dundas for the last 9 years. Edna loved spending time at the casino playing slot machines, going to the buffet, taking bus trips, and traveling to Hawaii many times.

Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at St. Peter’s, who filled Edna’s last 3 months with comfort and care. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 10 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
