Obituary of Mary Alice Eva Roddick (née Dempsey)

We are sad to announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother who left this world peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital in her 90th year. Mary is predeceased by her son, David Roddick and husband, John William (Bill) Roddick.

Mourning her loss are her children, Kim, Cheryl (Mark) and Heather (Roger); grandchildren Brittney Richard (Andrew), Ryan Richard (Meagan), Chloe Langton and Abigail Langton (Derrick).

Mary was a kind, generous person who would do anything for her family. We will never forget her sense of humour, baking skills, and devotion to her children and grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank the team at Juravinski Hospital and St. Peter’s Hospital, who provided compassionate, exceptional care for Mary in her final days.

A service will be held at White Chapel Cemetery on Friday, June 28 at 2:00 p.m.
