Deborah Elise Kerry Obituary

For over 34 years, Debbie was a beloved member of the Community Living Hamilton family. Debbie touched lives and formed lasting friendships. Her direct support staff felt privileged and honoured to support her, and to be a special part of her daily life. Debbie impacted many lives and will be forever in our hearts.

Predeceased by parents Allan Ross Kerry and wife Elise, brothers Brian and Jamie. Survived by sisters Susan and Claudette.

Debbie lived at Community Living Hamilton's Acorn residence and most recently participated in the Winona Community Participation program. Her iPad, cards, and photographs were her favorite possessions. She enjoyed fruits with cottage cheese, different strings, baked goods, pickles, tomatoes, and jewelry.

There was no doubt that Debbie was an extraordinarily strong and determined individual. It was clear to her what she wanted, when she wanted it, and didn’t hesitate to pursue it. For someone that was non-verbal, Debbie had a profound ability to communicate.
