Obituary of Greg Green

After a brief illness, Greg passed away at St. Peter’s Hospital on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Dorothy for 46 years. Loving father of Sandra (Geoff). Cherished grandfather to his “3 Amigos” Samantha (Mike), Danielle (Kyle) and Jessica (Jessica) and his little buddy David. He will also be sadly missed by his sister Lynda and his lifelong friend Wayne.

Greg was retired from Stelco with 32 years of service. He had a passion for playing the guitar, singing as well as visiting parks to enjoy the birds and the flowers.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Sullivan and the medical staff on 3 West Palliative ward at St. Peter’s Hospital for all of their compassion and care. Cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
