I met Pat in the seventies and we became fast friends. Pat came to Toronto and we shared an apartment for a few years. Pat introduced me to her wonderful friends that she had know since high school days. Pat called them “The Stoney Creek Gang”. We shared many wonderful times up at my cottage in Muskoka, called Calypso. The guys all were all steel workers and they made the most amazing steel table out of an old grate we had up there. It is a treasured table in our family. Pat had an amazing wit and a quick mind. I will miss Pat greatly. She has been part of my life for 50 years.
