Obituary of Andrew "Andy" Radzick

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father Andy in his 90th year at Anson Place long-term care in Hagersville. Andy was recently predeceased by his loving wife, Joan (Marie Jean D’Arc). Loving father of Rhonda (Cliff), Mervin (Heidi), Derek (Lynn) and Randy (Irma). Stepfather of Chuck (Beverly), Elaine, Debra, Diana (Glenn) and Maureen (Mark). He had 24 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren that each held a special place in his heart.

Born in Hines Creek, Alberta, he was a hard-working family man retired from International Brotherhood Of Boilermakers Local 128. After his retirement he drove for Haldimand Motors. He was very passionate about sports, never missing a game. in his younger years, he played hardball. He was an avid golfer and had a wall of trophies he proudly displayed. Dad and Joan loved to dance and travel. They spent many winters in Hawaii, Florida, and Texas golfing. He also loved to share his passion in the kitchen, making homemade pierogi and was famous for his dill pickles. He passed the recipes and tradition to his children, grandchildren, and a few golf buddies. After early morning golfing, the guys would come back to his house and make pierogi all afternoon. He leaves behind a multitude of happy memories. He will be dearly missed and remembered as strong, steadfast, and fearless.

Fly high sweet man and keep dancing with your Angel. Forever you will live in all our hearts.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 1:30-4:30 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 154, 29 Caithness St. E., Caledonia. Notes of sympathy and condolence may be left at www.donaldvbrown.ca
