Obituary of Harold Joseph O'Hagan

It is with sadden hearts we announce the passing of Harold Joseph O’Hagan April 19/24 in his 99th year.  He is reunited with his loving wife Verna (Parker) and son, Larry. Harold will always be remembered and loved by his children, Linda (Daryl), Brian (Mechelle) and Deanna (Phil) and grandchildren Nicole, Denise, Kyle, Mallary, Kaitlyn, Shaelyn, Rhya, Maddison, Marcus and Shawn. Harold was blessed to enjoy watching his great grandchildren; Savannah, Brayden, Rylie, Jaiden, Scarlett, and Tatum, grow and play.

Harold’s life adventures started in New Brunswick where he enjoyed growing up the oldest of eleven siblings: Bertha, Stella, Mary, Caroline, Jimmy, Hayden, June, Avis, Robert, Roland, and Darrell.  As a young adult he transitioned to Ontario, where he held many interesting jobs including the building of the Hamilton Skyway, Niagara Hydro Plant and over 30 years at Stelco.

Harold along with his wife; Verna, built a life full of love, strength and laughter always surrounded by family, friends and colleagues.

Please join the family in celebrating his wonderful life.  Friends and family will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, 934 Hwy 8, Winona, on Wednesday, April 24th at 1:00 p.m. Interment Fifty Cemetery, Winona.

The family would like to thank Melanie and Diana from Senior Homecare by Angels for their supportive care over the last year as well as the Staff at West Lincoln Hospital Ward C for their compassionate care.
