Walter was the best neighbour and a kindred spirit. We shared the love of the sun on our faces, a glass of chilled white wine on a sunny day, the joy of travel and we were almost birthday buddies. His death will leave a large hole in my heart. Rest in peace Walter.

I have so many fond memories of time spent with the Kohlberger boys when I was a child in Bahamas and later when we all were living in Canada. I’m so sorry you have lost your father. Walter was a very dear friend of my parents Gloria and Doug Mason and we will miss him. Our sincere condolences to Linda, Norman, Kent, Wayne and Jason. Heather Mason-Wood

Heather, i'm back in the Bahamas now and was able to be with my father for his last days. We talked alot and your family was remembered fondly, I too remember our times spent together and your wonderful filled filled parents. Kent

My mother met Walter while taking a sailing course during the summer of 1989. I was 13 years old when she introduced me to the man who would become part of our lives for the next 35 years. Above all else was the one thing Walter and I most had in common: we both loved my mother, Linda. Be it travelling together, going sailing, wine tastings, sharing their homes and families, for better or for worse, thorough joy and pain, Walter was always there for my mom. I know he brought much joy into her life. Thank you for everything, Walter. Love, Rob (step-son)
