Obituary of Edna May Helps

HELPS, Edna May (nee Legister) Peacefully, at the home of her daughter Elsie in Stoney Creek, on Sunday, November 14, 2010 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Samuel Helps. Loving mother of Sydna Helps, Elsie and Basil Vernon, and Dennis Helps. Predeceased by a son Keith. Dear grandmother of 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Edna was a long time member of Stewart Memorial Church in Hamilton. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Monday, November 22nd from 6- 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Stewart Memorial Church, 114 John St. N., on Tuesday, November 23rd at 11 a.m. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery.
