Obituary of Gojko Prpa

It is with profound sadness that the family of Gojko Prpa announces his sudden passing at home, on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at the age of 86. Gojko was predeceased by his beloved wife of 53 years Radojka. Loved father of Jelena (Tim) and Vera. Cherished Deda of Ryan, Andrew and Luke. He will always be fondly remembered for his devotion to his family, his kind and quiet nature, and his love of soccer. Predeceased and reunited with his parents Stojan and Stoja, his brothers Ilija (Milka) and Dusan (Lela), sisters Draginja (Bobo), Dusanka (Nine) and Jela (Dusko). He will be remembered and missed by his family, Kumovi, neighbours and friends here, in the United States, and in Serbia.

Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 from 6-8:30 p.m. with Pomen at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Nicholas Orthodox Cathedral, 149 Nash Rd. S., Hamilton on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with The Very Reverend Father Djuro Samac officiating. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
