My beautiful cousin Sharon treated me as an adult when I was a teenager, which made me feel important. She convinced me to sing a duet with her during the reception following a family wedding: "I Enjoy Being a Girl", and even though I was young, I could see that she did enjoy being a girl! She was lively, artistic, and fun, and when she and Tommy visited, their love for each other was evident. Years later, my daughters and I attended one of her demonstrations with Chanda-Leah when they came to Ottawa. We were proud of her achievements and excited when she was on tv with her incredible dog, and I was very happy that the girls could see her poise and joy firsthand. We loved you very much, Sharon.

Tommy and Family: So sorry to hear of Sharon's passing. She used to light up the West Highland Church when she attended there. I recall you telling us when we met in Denninger's (Saturday mornings as usual) that Sharon wasn't well. Arlene and I think of you both quite often. I certainly hope that you are comforted with the Lord's presence during this time of loss. Our sincerest condolences to you.
Graham and Arlene Williamson

I'm so sorry to hear of Sharon's passing. She taught me Cosmetology at Marval Beauty School in Hamilton many years ago. She looked beautiful everyday. Her red hair, her make up and her clothes. A number of years past after Marval and I ran into her and she looked just the same - peaches & cream skin and her hair was perfect. I admired her so much and she had a tremendous influence on who I became.
