Obituary of Frida Babic

June 21, 1934 – February 15, 2024

Passed away peacefully at Juravinski Hospital. Beloved wife of John. Dear loving mother to John (Jr.) and his wife Helen. Fondly remembered by her surviving sisters Emma (late Fred), Erica (Franci) and Anica (late Leo), all currently residing in Austria. Predeceased by sister Mary (Herman) and brother Franci (late Irene). Dearly missed by her extended family and friends here in Canada and in her native Slovenia.

A special note of Thanks to the doctors, nurses and medical staff at Juravinski Hospital, as well as others who had Frida in their care.

Family and friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, February 20th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Vigil prayers 3:30 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 21st at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church, 125 Centennial Pkwy. N., Hamilton. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Cemetery, 681 Mud St E, Stoney Creek.
