Condolences to the Henry Family.
When I joined Royal Botanical Gardens back in 1984, one of the first volunteers I met was Doreen and she warmly welcomed me, then sternly asked why she hadn’t seen me at Church (I had attended Pioneer Memorial for several years) .
Doreen was part of the Floral Design Group (Machine) for many years and was a great designer and judge.
Doreen was a very important and hard working volunteer at the Gardens. RBG volunteers will always be a vital piece of its operation. I thoroughly enjoyed working with them all throughout my career there.
