Obituary of Emilia Grubacichi

Passed away peacefully, at Clarion Nursing Home, on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 just shy of her 86^th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Svetislav. Cherished mother of Smilja (Iovan) Bataneat, and Iosa (Tatiana). Devoted grandmother of Dalibor (Nadia), Oliver (Jessica) and great-grandmother of Niko and Alex. Will be missed by her many family and friends in Romania, Serbia and Canada. Special thank you to the wonderful staff at the Clarion for all of your loving care.

Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. Pomen 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 149 Nash Rd. S., Hamilton, on Friday, February 9, 2024 at 11 a.m. with The Very Reverend Father Djuro Samac officiating. Interment to follow at Eastlawn Cemetery.
