I met. Kerri at a deer hunt protest….and the Marineland and then horse drawn carriage demo. If animals were in need Kerri was there to add her ample voice. She wi be missed. I will miss her.

Kerri was a sweet, warm person, full of smiles and a wonderful listener. I remember enjoying our time together at family reunions and sharing conversations on Facebook. She was indeed passionate about animals, and was always involved in rescue efforts, advocacy, and willing to attend rallies to support this cause. Sending heartfelt wishes and love to the rest of her family and friends. Ann and Larry Chartier

Kerri was a loving lady who always put forward more then she received. She was a giver without asking. Her passion for animals was unmatched by anyone I have ever known. I think she liked animals more then people. She was always looking for a way to protect them. I can't remember how many times she asked me to take her to the Donkey Sanctuary or to an animal shelter. They were VULNERABLE to human life. Kerri was a good friend of mine, I will miss her. Till we meet again. Gene Lampman

My very sincerest condolences go out to Kerri's husband and family. Kerri was a dear friend from grade 7 all the way to the end of high school. She was my basketball buddy for 7 years, and we shared many good times in- and outside-of school. She was a kind, sweet, gentle friend, who held some of the best basement parties and sleepovers (thank you, Bill and Marilyn, for hosting all of those!), and with whom we all shared many laughs and deep-secret girl-talks. When I reconnected with her on FB a decade ago, Kerri was the one who convinced my whole family that visiting zoos and aquariums is not appropriate and that these animals suffer; I thank her for that lesson. I have so many darling and funny memories of Kerri, that I will cherish in my heart forever. Wishing the family strength at this very difficult time. She will be missed.

My deepest condolences to the Shaw family. I have so many great memories of growing up with Kerri: playing at Glenashton Park, hanging out in her basement watching Corey Haim movies (Lucas was a favourite), checking out the latest dress Mrs. Shaw was sewing, going to see the Grateful Dead in Buffalo, and the memories go on an on. I know that Jesus has His arms wrapped around Kerri and that she feels His peace and love. Love, Carla (Barbone) McPhail xo
