Obituary of Harold Jerome Chisholm

 February 25th 1938 - December 6th 2023

With great sadness we announce the passing of Harold Jerome Chisholm of Hamilton On. peacefully at home at the age of 85. Harold was the son of the late William  and Margaret Chisholm (Connolly), of Guysborough Interval Nova Scotia. loving husband to Mary of 62 years, loving father to Linda (bill) Natalie and Stephen Predeceased daughters Wendy and Paula. Grandfather (Dadad) to Amy and Andrew (Laura) Great Grandfather (Dadad) to Braiden, Larissa, Brett, and Jude. Surviving sisters Martha McDonald, Evelyn Speller and Joan Mcisaac.

Harold was employed with Dofasco for 32 years, where he worked as a supervisor. After retiring from Dofasco, he worked as a school bus driver for a number of years. Harold looked forward to spending Summers  with  his family at his summer home in Sandpoint, Nova Scotia. Where he enjoyed visiting family and friends, taking in the beautiful scenery peace and quiet, fishing and the camaraderie at the wharf getting to know the good people of Sandpoint. He also enjoyed attending the little church  Saint Francis in St Francis Harbor. He often remarked how beautiful  the church and grounds were kept, and was always happy to be greeted by Father McPhee. One of the things Harold will be remembered for is his love of singing.

There will be a Funeral Mass (family only) at St Eugene's Roman Catholic Church in Hamilton, 120 Parkdale Ave. S., Saturday, February 3rd at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will take place at a later date.

The family thanks the PSW's who were involved in the care of Harold  (special thanks to Albert) and thanks to Mary Ellen and Susanna.
