Obituary of Susan Gail Tremaine (Aiken)

Passed away peacefully at Grace Villa Nursing Home in Hamilton on Monday, January 22, 2024 at the age of 78. Cherished wife to Clark for 12 years. Susan is survived by her brother David Tremaine (Marie), nephews Max (Meghan) and Billy, great niece Tina and great nephew Bruce. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Reta (nee Rowe).

Susan was a determined person with strong beliefs accompanied by an irreverent sense of humor. She loved travel, reading, learning about a myriad of subjects, competitive swimming, her cats and Clark. She left us too soon and will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 2-6 p.m. A service to celebrate Susan's life will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Eastlawn Cemetery, Hamilton.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA or the Canadian Wildlife Federation would be appreciated.
