Obituary of Mary Patricia McLeod

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary McLeod on Sunday, January 14^th, 2024, at the Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton, in her 81^st year. Mary, Beloved wife of Walter for 59 years. Loving mother to Michelle (Philip) and Mark (Anne). Proud grandmother to Charlotte and Elaina. Predeceased by her parents, Murray and Violet Fortman, and her brother Brian Fortman. Sincere thanks to Kim Koczan and her family who were a very special part of her life.

Mary was a very generous person who always thought of others. She fought a courageous and determined battle, but always maintained her wonderful sense of humour. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Friends and family will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m, with a service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Burial to follow.
