Obituary of Nada Susnyar

 Passed away peacefully, at Clarion Nursing Home, on Friday, January 12, 2024 in her 98^th year. Beloved wife of the late Nikola (January 12, 1994), both passing away on their wedding anniversary. Dearly loved mother of the late David (Pam), Bob (Patti), the late Ida (Mike Kopac), and Jelena “Helen”. Devoted grandmother of Steve (Maggie), Stefanie, Mark (Stacia), Tia (David), Nik (Olivia), Tesla (Mike) and great-grandmother of Jelena, Lidija, and Mia. She will be greatly missed by many friends and family in Canada, Croatia, Serbia, Austria, and Australia.

Nada was an avid reader, always learning and keeping up to date with the world around her. She loved gardening, baking, and cooking meals for those that she cared for. She devoted her time to knitting and crocheting over 2,000 hats for the neonatal units in Hamilton. She will be remembered for her deep love of family and always encouraging others to better themselves.

Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. Pomen 7:30p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 11am in the Funeral Home Chapel with The Very Reverend Father Djuro Samac officiating. Interment to follow at Eastlawn Cemetery.
