Obituary of Brian McKnight

Passed away peacefully, after a lengthy illness, on Friday, December 29, 2023 at the age of 60. Beloved husband of 35 years to Carla, and together for 45 years since becoming high school sweet hearts. Dearly loved father of Cole (Rachel), and Alex, and grandfather of Benjamin. Cherished son of Patricia and the late James. Dear brother of Jim, the late Bob, Cheryl White (Kevin), Penny, Bill (Belinda) and uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his father-in-law Carlo Eriksen (the late Eileen), sister-in-law Lone Eriksen (Darren Mierau) and brother-in-law Greg Daybutch (Joan). Brian will also be missed and lovingly remembered by his many friends.

He was an avid golfer, enjoyed spending time fishing, and was an employee of Dofasco for over 40 years. Brian will be remembered for being the best hugger ever.

Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 3-7 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 1:30 p.m in the Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation to follow.
