Obituary of Ellen Lorena Ackerman

(nee Lister)

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ellen peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, December 14th, 2023 in her 91st year. Predeceased by her loving husband and best friend Gordon. Adoring mother of  Cathy Mrmak(Nick), Kim Hawkins, Gordon (Rita), Gord Sleeth (Kathy) Predeceased by daughter Gail Sleeth and son-in-law Steven Hawkins. Loving Nana to Erin (Allen), Jocelyn, Melissa (John), Christopher (Cass), Brittney, Derrick and Marko (Mandy). GG to Ethan, Steel, Arileus, Elaria, Ava and Markus. Survived by her sisters Rosella (Doug), Ethel, brother in law Ross. Predeceased by brothers Karl, Vernon, sister Doris and sister-in-law Rowena. Ellen will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by extended family and friends.
