Obituary of Jim Brooks

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at St. Peter’s Hospital on Saturday, November 11, 2023.

Loving and devoted husband to Agnes for 57 years. Father to Marge and Hank (Spier) and Jim and Cathy. Doting Grandpa to Hutton and Michael. Brother to Marge and John (Reinert) and John and Deb. Uncle to Bernice and Paul, Alan, Corey and Rob, Eldon and Amanda, Jenny and James, Ian, and Kathryn and Cory, as well as, great-uncle to many.

Brooksy provided comic relief at Stelco for 40 years, all the while keeping his family laughing and blushing. 

Many thanks to all the staff at St. Peter’s for their wonderful care. Visitation, only, will be held Wednesday November 15, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek.
