Obituary of Mary McDonald

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness we share the loss of our precious mother Mary on Saturday, October 21, 2023, who peacefully passed in her 69th year.  Beloved daughter of the late Patrick Gardiner and Lavinia Reid.  Loving and devoted Mother of Tanya (Mike), Melissa (Allan), Christopher (Nicole).  Adored and cherished Nana to Chase and Riley.  Dear sister of David (Lori), Patricia (Milt), Brian, Wayne, Debra, Bernard (Tracy), and Charles.  She will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.  We were blessed to have her in our lives, and she will always remain in our hearts. 

Thank you to all the caring staff at Outreach, Dr. Renn and palliative team.  A special heartfelt thank you to Jenna Smith, and Clysen Popo for your exceptional care and allowing her to pass with peace and dignity. 

Visitation will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday, October 26 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, October 27, 2023, at 1 p.m.  Burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Stoney Creek.
