Obituary of Frederick "Fred" Russell Morris

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Fred on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at the age of 75. Fred was a loving husband and best friend to Gale, caring father to Shawn (Erin) and Sara Deck (Josh). He loved being a devoted grandfather to Aidan and Char and took great delight in their accomplishments. Fred will be missed by his sisters Mary (Bob) and Thelma (Rick), as well as many friends and family.

Fred will be remembered for his love of fly-fishing, his deep research passion into the family’s ancestry and his skill in water colour painting. The family would like to thank the many people who have supported us in the last while.

Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Tuesday, September 26th,  from 12:30 p.m. until the Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. A private interment will take place in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, at a later date.
