Obituary of Miriam Gracey

 (nee Howden)

Peacefully on Friday September 1st, 2023, at Emmanuel House Hospice at the age of 58.  Loving Mom of Christina and Josh and will be missed by their father Terry.  Beloved daughter of Marie Howden and the late Arnold. Predeceased by her mother and father-in-law Alwyn and Bob Gracey.  Miriam will be greatly missed by her brother’s Doug (Jean), and Paul (Muriel).  Will also be missed by nieces and nephews Beth, Kathryn, Keelan and Lily and “Fur baby” Hunter and “Fur grandbabies” Elphi and Seamus.  Miriam was a devoted and respected employee of the Good Shepherd. Special thanks to the Nurses, Psw’s and staff at Emmanuel House Hospice for their devoted care.  Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, September 7, 2023, from 11-1 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 p.m.  Cremation has taken place.  Donations in Miriam’s name to Emmanuel House Hospice or Juravinski Hospital would be greatly appreciated by her family.  Notes of sympathy and condolence may be left at www.donaldvbrown.ca
