Dear Pammie & Family - I was so sorry and surprised to hear about Dave's passing. He was a very interesting character who loved you & his family and was "oh" so proud of you all! Dave had many challenges but he faced them head on and succeeded. Pam, I have known David for over 30 years. He was a very strong and opinionated person on many fronts. Whenever I spoke to him you could clearly see that YOU, HIS FAMILY, GRAND KIDS, and FRIENDS were held in the highest regard in LOVE and RESPECT. David didn't think to highly about anyone else. When David spoke to me about you, he always referred to you as "My Bride" and you could always feel the love he had for you. I was lucky to be in the friends category and will miss him terribly. My sincere condolences to Pam and the family on Dave's passing. What a wonderful life he had with family always his number one priority. He was larger than life itself and the picture and comments in the obituary were perfect . I had the privilege of knowing Dave personally and professionally. He was the go to guy for his market knowledge of Hamilton where he ran his appraisal business. Will remember fondly the great times together both at his home at the lake and the ski house. And most of all the great memories that I am sure all of us had with Dave over the years-ones we all thought of today when we heard this news. You lived the song Dave-'I DID IT MY WAY" and thanks for being in your worldly journey.

I only knew Dave professionally, but it was always a treat when he called in looking for help. He left a lasting impression with his self-deprecating humour, often referring to himself as SFB (IYKYK).
