Obituary of Paul Michael Allen

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Michael Allen in his 63rd year on August 5, 2023. Paul was predeceased by his parents Kenneth (2005) and Mary (1998) and his brother Steve (2014), son John (2010) and partner Christine (2009). He leaves behind his son Michael, sister Colleen (Blake) Williams, brother Richard (Augusta), and sister-in-law Karem. Paul was uncle to Erik, James (Kate), Courtney (Jacob), lsla and Desmond. Great uncle to Ali and Ben. Paul was a sports enthusiast who loved to play hockey and baseball. He enjoyed following the Blue Jays (just like his Grandma O'Brien). He had many friends and acquaintances through his many jobs throughout his life. He always had a great sense of humour and loved to make people laugh.  We would like to thank Dr. Matt Lau, nurses Cavan and Rachel and a huge thank you to social worker Kristin who brought sunshine to a difficult period of our lives. She was a joy to work with and help us through this time. Cremation has taken place.  Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations to McNally House would be greatly appreciated by the family.  Notes of sympathy and condolence may be left at www.donaldvbrown.ca.
