Obituary of Vera Harstine

HARSTINE, Vera (nee Dexter) At the Hamilton General Hospital on Monday, December 24, 2007 in her 85th year. Predeceased by her husbands Gilbert Harstine and Herbert Crombie as well as her parents Stephen and Edith Dexter and sisters June Boniface and Bernice Manary. Loving mother of Craig and Monecia Crombie of Ohio, Heather-Sue and George Chiahotny, Howard Harstine and Jenn, Thomas and Judith Harstine, all of Hamilton. Dear grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of George and Shirley Dexter, Muriel and Bob Leyland and Clifford and Cynthia Dexter. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and extended family. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Ave. Dr., Stoney Creek on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, December 28th at 1 p.m. Interment Chape Hill Memorial Gardens.
