Obituary of Roy John Cabral

CABRAL, Roy

            Peacefully, at Hospice Niagara, Roy passed surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 61 on Sunday, July 16, 2023. Roy will be reunited with his parents Lidio Cabral and Maria Das Neves Cabral. Devoted husband of Manuela (Wella) Cabral. Cherished father of Jeremy (Jennifer) and Jordan (Kylie). Loving grandfather of Mya and Maximus. Dearly loved brother of Suzette Mah (Phil) and Lidia Costa (Gualter). Will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Roy was a great lover of music. He was actively involved in the Portuguese community as a drummer for Gemini 5 and Asas Do Atlantico. Roy was a great provider for his family through his plumbing career, starting with William Groves, that led to his own business Cabral Sewer and Plumbing and finishing with his family Carm and Maria Mamone and friends at Rescue Rooter. Roy’s family wishes to thank all of the doctors, nurses and staff at Hospice Niagara for all of their dedication, care, and compassion. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Dr., Stoney Creek on Thursday, July 20, 2023, from 4pm until 6p.m. Roy’s service of remembrance will take place at 6pm in the Funeral Home Chapel.
