My sincere condolences go out to Bob and the Swan family. I work at Eastgate (Northern Reflections) and whenever Lenore and Bob entered through the doors my day would be brighter. What a tremendous couple. They had the best sense of humour. I will so miss them and the great conversations we had together. God bless beautiful Lenore.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the whole Swan family. Lenore was a wonderful wife, mother, nana and friend. Reading the tributes has reminded me of some of the wonderful times we have had as neighbors. The laughter after a couple of glasses of Riesling at my wine and cheese parties (no cheque for the heart and stroke - no wine!) ; the fireworks displays in the fog on the 24th of May; the showers and weddings; the joking about her camera and yes those new years eve dances at Bronco's. I have known Lenore for over 52 years and I don't think I ever heard her complain or gossip. She was one of a kind.... a real lady! Rest in peace Lenore.

Mr. Swan, Rob, Sherri, Leslee, Jeff, Dana, Iain, Breanne, Cody, Kendall, Ashley & Rachel. We are heartbroken to hear of Mrs. Swan's passing. She was one of the most cheerful and upbeat people I have ever met. From growing up with the "Swans", I have so many cherished memories: Commander Tom parties in the backyard, peanut butter jewels and Sweet Marie Rice Krispie bars, trying to call my mother on the phone and having it be busy for 3 straight hours because the 2 of them were talking about God knows what for that long. But mostly, for having that constant in my life growing up that Mr. & Mrs. Swan would always be a part of our social events. New Year's Day parties with Bess and Bronco, everyone's weddings, my dad getting Mr. Swan drunk on slivovica and my mom and Mrs. Swan laughing at their crazy husbands. Great times and great memories. I don't think she ever called me "Jodie" - it was always, "Jo" - a voice and a gesture that I will always cherish. We loved Mrs. Swan and are thankful for the memories. Mrs. Swan was a large part of our lives growing up on Glenholme Avenue. She always had a smile and hug for us. Our parents were the best of friends. They enjoyed Las Vegas and Niagara Casino trips. I remember her always having a camera and loving to shop. May she rest in peace with those that have gone before. We are so glad to have had her in our lives. Love, Cathy Conrad and Monica Andrei
