Obituary of Vaso "Bill" Kopac

It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Bill on Sunday, July 2, 2023.  He is now reunited with his father Dusan, his brother Louie and sister-in-law Donna.  Cherished son of Sofija. Loving uncle of Melanie and Matthew Foster and great uncle to Miles. Dear nephew of Milica and Jovo Madjercic, Maca Miscevic and Mileva Vojnovic. Cousin to Mirko , Dusan (Aleksandra), Jovan Madjercic. Uncle to Tanya, Maya, Alexa, Maksim Madjercic. Cousin to Milan Kopac and uncle to Steve (Maggie), Mark (Stacia) and Stefanie Kopac. Cousin to Radmila Crevar and uncle to Boban (Julia) and Goran (Ljilija) Crevar. Nephew of Dusan (Vesna) Kopac and families. Bill was also predeceased by his grandparents, Nikola and Marta Crevar and Vaso and Stana Kopac, uncle Petar Crevar, aunt Milka Pajic, uncle Ljuban and aunt Milka Kopac. Bill was a successful Real Estate Agent with Royal Lepage for over 30 years. He enjoyed golfing and fishing with his brother Louie, co-workers and friends. We would like to express a heartfelt thank you to family and friends throughout this difficult time. We would like to thank the caring and compassionate staff at Ridgeview Long Term Care Centre and St. Joseph’s Hospital. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, July 5th from 5-8 p.m. with Pomen at 7:30 p.m.  Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, July 6th at 11 a.m. with The Very Reverend Father Djuro Samac officiating.  Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery.
