Obituary of Roger Joseph Adams

Roger Joseph Adams peacefully passed surrounded by family at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 after dealing with the challenges of Dementia. 

He is predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Sandy. Remembered by his children Brian (Brenda), Barb, the late Kevin and Bonnie (Steve); his grandchildren, who he truly loved and was proud of: Paris (Joey), Carli (Ben), Brody, Sasha, Quinn (Joanna) and Avory.

Roger truly cherished his friendship with his best friends Johnny and Anna Muraca. Johnny and Roger shared many secrets and stories that will live on with them forever. 

Dad was a proud 50 year member of the Local 736 Ironworkers Union. He was recognized by the Red Cross for donating blood in excess of 125 times. Through his life Dad enjoyed and was dedicated to his  community work with the Optimist Club and coaching youth sports. Dad would be described as having a rough exterior and if you looked inside the man he had a good heart. 

Family would like to thank the staff at Albright Manor and West Lincoln Memorial Hospital for their care of our father. 

Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Monday, June 19th from 7-9 p.m.  A private interment will take place at a later date.
