Obituary of Djuro Vranjkovic

Peacefully, at Macassa Lodge on June 13^th 2023 in his 91st year.  Beloved husband of Anica.  Loving father of Zora (Dragan) and Mary (Zoran).  Cherished Deda of Tamara (Nick), Nikola (Daniela), Tatiana (Vishaal) and great grandfather of Maks and Luka.  He is survived by his sister Ruzica, many nieces, nephews, Kumovi and friends.  Predeceased by his brothers Lazar, Jovo, Petar and sisters Anica and Masha.  Special thank you to all the wonderful staff at Macassa Lodge for their exceptional care.  Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, June 15^th from 5-8 p.m. with Pomen at 7:30 p.m.  Funeral Service will be held at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral with The Very Reverend Dragomir Ninkovic officiating on Friday, June 16^th at 11 a.m.  Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral Building Fund would be appreciated.
