Obituary of Lorraine Haystead

Born on May 30, 1933, in George’s River, Cape Breton to Richard and Jessie Gillis.Lorraine peacefully passed away, surrounded by her loving family, at Juravinski Hospital on May 28th, 2023, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of Earl. Cherished mother of Donna and her husband Dennis, Michael and his wife Cory, Cheryl and her partner Jennifer. Loving Nana of Thomas and his wife Elif, Darla and her husband Nicholas, Alicia and her husband Dan, Stephanie, Dane and his wife Jessica, Zachary and Claire. Doting Great Nana of Anwen, Grayson, Daxton and Cedar. Lorraine will be missed by her sister-in-law Lena and predeceased sister-in-law Elaine. Predeceased by her brother Jack and his wife Louise, predeceased by her brother Richard, and will be missed by her sister-in-law Gladys, predeceased by her brother Earl and will be missed by her brother Warren and his wife Linda, brother Sheldon and his wife Cecillia. Predeceased by her brother David and will be missed by her sister-in-law Tammy. Lorraine will also, be missed by her brother Lloyd and his wife Diane. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Following Lorraine’s wishes cremation has taken place.
