Obituary of Carman Harrison

HARRISON, Carman Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, with his family by his side, at the Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday, May 12, 2009, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Madeleine for 57 years. Loved father of Laurel and her husband Barry Brown and David and his wife Helmy. Loving grandpa of Lucas, Mitch, Katie and Rebecca. Carman was the Head of the Art Department at Delta Secondary School for 30 years, and the founder and operator of Camp Otterdale, Smith Falls for 28 years. Special thanks to the staff in the Integrated Stroke Unit at Hamilton General for their excellent and kind care. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Ave. Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. where Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, May 15th at 1 p.m. Interment in Smith Falls at a later date.
