Obituary of Slobodan Bozovic

A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away suddenly on April 1st at the age of 64.  Loving husband to Djulzida (Prtesic) of 35 years, father to Boban (Justine) and Oleg (Christine) and grandfather to Luka and Niko. Brother of sister Zora, Rada and dear uncle of Boki, Sanja and Jelena. 

Born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and later migrated to Canada in search of a better life for himself and his family. Slobodan was a hard working and dedicated man who always put his family first.  He was known for his kind heart, generous spirit, and stubbornness.  He was always willing to lend a helping hand and never hesitated to offer his support to those he cared about.

His legacy will live on through his children and grandchildren and all those whose lives he touched.  Rest in peace Slobodan, you will be forever missed and always remembered.

Friends will be received for a public visitation at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, April 5th from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m.  Pomen at 7:30 p.m.  The Funeral Service will be conducted at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home on Thursday, April 6th at 1 pm. With the Very Reverend Father Vojislav Pavlovic officiating. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery
