Obituary of Evan Lloyd Corson

Thomas and Sally Corson, along with twin brother Ryan are devastated to announce the sudden passing of Evan on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the age of 10. Evan and Ryan were born on July 20, 2012 and have been the best part of our lives since then. Evan was a soft spoken, kind, and funny child. He could always make you smile. Evan was in grade 5 at St. Eugene's School where he made many meaningful connections. He loved playing ice hockey at Rosedale arena with his team the Kings. While he wasn't a goal scorer, he played his hardest at every game. Evan could usually be found hanging out in his pyjamas-comfort was king to him! In his free time, he loved playing video games with his friends and cousins, especially Super Mario, while simultaneously watching his favourite YouTube channels. He loved sharing his favourite parts of the videos with you whether or not you found them as hysterical as he did. He will be dearly missed by his Grandparents Diane and Steven Townsend, and Kathleen and David Corson. Cherished nephew of Sarah and Brian Forde, and Laura Corson and Raymone Clarke. Best cousin to Max, Charlie and Owen Forde, and Felicia (Fred) and Devonte Clarke. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the nurses and doctors involved with Evan's care at McMaster's PICU. Their compassion helped get us through this difficult time. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Vigil prayers 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Eugene's Catholic Church, 232 Queenston Rd., Hamilton on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. Notes of sympathy and condolence may be left at www.donaldvbrown.ca
