Obituary of Shirley Marilyn Hand

On February 18, 2023, our beautiful matriarch of our family passed, peacefully at home per her wishes, surrounded by family into her 88th year of life. Shirley will forever live in the heart of her beloved husband Frank of 50+ years. Shirley was a dedicated mother to 4 beautiful girls, Lorie (Jimmy), Vicki (Terry), Wendy (George) and Shannon. Adored Nanny to Kelly (Patrick), Beau, Mark, Leann, Luke, Brittany (Michael), Skylar and Shelby. Cherished Great Nanny to Brock, Taylor (Kelly & Patrick) and Marco, Melania, Gianna (Brittany & Michael). Predeceased by her parents Mabel (McChestney) and Ralph Armstrong. Predeceased by siblings Bernice, Jack, and Ralph. Shirley is survived by brothers Ron (Olive) and David Armstrong. She will be dearly missed by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Our family would like to thank the dedicated nurses at V.O.N and 3PC Paramedics. Shirley lived a full life with many fond memories, our loss is simply immeasurable. Visitation to be held at the Donald V Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek. Saturday, February 25th from 4-6 p.m.  Funeral service to follow at 6 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
