Obituary of Henry Turner Harris

HARRIS, Henry Turner (Hank) Peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital, on Wednesday, February 10, 2010, in his 85th year. Predeceased by his parents Henry and Blanche and his son Rick. Beloved husband of Jean Harris for 65 years. Loving father of Bill (Sandy), Sheila Hamilton (Ken), John (Hong) and daughter-in-law Mary Lou. Dear grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by his sisters and brother Lillian (Paul), Shirley (John) and Bill. Hank was retired from Siemans/Westinghouse after 39 years of service, he was a long time member of the Beach Rescue Unit and was a 55 year member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Special thanks to the Staff of the C.C.U. at the Hamilton General Hospital for all of their compassion and care. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, February 13 at 2 p.m. Private interment at Mountview Gardens on Tuesday, February 16th.
