Obituary of Henry Bronislaw Rzepski

November 25, 1956-February 11, 2023

Henry Rzepski, aged 66 of Stoney Creek passed away at home, with his brother by his side on Saturday, February 11, 2023 after a battle with cancer.

He was born on November 25, 1956 to Bronislaw and Mary Rzepski, in Stoney Creek, Ontario. He grew up with his sister and brother, and enjoyed summer trips to Beausoleil Island and Port Dalhouise. He graduated from Saltfleet High School in 1975.

He began working at Dofasco in after graduation, with his father and later brother, Rick and retired from there after almost 35 years, in 2010.

Henry enjoyed fishing trips up north in his trailer with his brother and their buddies. He liked having the newest gear and accessories and grew a large collection of fishing rods over the years. He was also a fan of trucks. Henry had a soft spot for his 4-legged friends, specifically Chip, Ginger and Zeus.

Henry was predeceased by his father, Bronislaw and his mother, Mary. He is survived by his sister, Wanda (Frank) and brother Rick (Francine), as well as nieces, Gwen (Mick), Leslie (Kris) and Frankie (Melissa). He was also a great uncle to nine children.

Henry was generous to his family and supported them through their milestones. He was the quiet one at family functions who liked to sit back and observe. He had a big heart.

Visitation will be held at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home in Stoney Creek on Monday, February 13th from 1-3pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation to be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
