Obituary of John Francis Blaney

Peacefully at his home, surrounded by family on Tuesday, February 7th, 2023, at the age of 95. John is now resting with his beloved wife Charlotte in wait of the Resurrection. John loved the Lord and the 7th Day Adventist Church. Loved father of John (Tammy), Ron (Darlene), Charlene (Jim), Ruth (Nick). Dear grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. An avid sports fan, John played baseball and hockey into his late 80’s. Also a mechanic, John could often be found under the hood of a car fixing the engine. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 10th at 11 a.m.  Interment Mount Hamilton Cemetery.
