Obituary of James (Jim) Fyfe

March 29, 1941 – January 14, 2023

It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family of James (Jim) Fyfe mourn his passing in his 82nd year to join his beloved wife and soulmate of 63 years, Sharon (nee Keep) (2022). Much loved father to Debbie (Andy), Jamie (Mike), Laura (Dave), Susan (James), Jim (Lynda). He will be lovingly remembered as Papa or Pops to his 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Jim is predeceased by his parents, Bill and Doris (Barrow) and his brothers Bob, Ken, Tom and Billy.

Jim was born in St. Catharines, ON. He and Sharon moved to Stoney Creek with their growing family in 1968. Jim started his 40 year career with Newman Steel in St. Catharines at the young age of 15 and shared his commitment to family, loyalty, work hard and play hard with his family, friends and colleagues. Thank you to the staff at St. Peter’s Hospital, 3 West, for the care and kindness you gave to Dad and our family. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 10 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 12 noon in the Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation to follow.
