Obituary of Ernest (Larry) Moffett

June 1, 1940 – December 20, 2022

With heavy hearts and many tears, we regrettably announce the passing of Larry Moffett on December 20th, 2022.  Predeceased by Betty his loving wife of 59 years, his brother Dennis, and his parents Ernest and Nancy.  Larry leaves a wonderful legacy of family and friends behind. The father of four children Kathy (Kirby), Wayne, Kevin (Denise), and Stacey (Ted); grandfather to five Matthew (Lisa), Carly (Malcolm), Kyle (Aleks), Joshua and Sydney; and great-grandfather to three Bianca, Vienna, and Adriana.  Larry was happiest when in the company of those he loved.  His hearty laugh and sarcasm were shared with all of those lucky enough to be in his presence. Always generous with both his time and a good story, Larry will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours, and friends, including his newest buddy, Frank. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Queen’s Gardens Long Term Care Residence with a special mention to Patricia, Rav and Odane for their compassion, care and support. Cremation has taken place, and a private, family celebration will be held at a later date.
