Obituary of Joseph Kolenko

Passed away peacefully, at Juravinski Hospital, on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Rose for nearly 50 years. Devoted father of Joseph Jr. and Frank. Dear brother of Cvetka Bedernjak. Will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Joseph was proud to have retired from Dofasco with over 30 years of service. He enjoyed his time with family, gardening, and spending time with his dogs. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. Prayers 6 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gregory The Great Slovenian Catholic Church, 125 Centennial Parkway N., Hamilton, on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.
