Obituary of Eric (Arie) Stam

“That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,

It is with deep sadness that we mourn the passing of Eric (Arie) Stam who was taken home to be with his Lord in his 79th year, on Friday, October 14, 2022. He will be dearly missed by his sisters and brother Martha Dunham, Ria Heeringa (Jerry) and Ted Stam along with many nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Jacob and Jenny Stam, brother John Stam, brother-in-law Bob Dunham and sister-in-law Betty Stam. Eric loved nature and to travel, some of his fondest memories were meeting new people while enjoying both. His joy came from sharing Gods love by helping others and sharing the gospel of Christ. Appreciation for the staff of Vineland Mennonite Home. The genuine care and compassion given to him was a true blessing. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Stoney Creek on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. followed directly by Funeral Service at 11 a.m. for family and friends.
